Why This Guide Exists
Kentucky makes many arrest and booking records open to inspection, but the record is split among custodians. The Simpson County Detention Center keeps county booking files and the current list, Kentucky Department of Corrections publishes information for sentenced state prisoners through KOOL, and the courts hold the later case outcome. We organize those official links and request paths without storing or displaying booking-photo galleries.
Records Covered Here
The guide explains the following official routes:
- How to use the home page for current custody, recent arrests, records requests, and the county roster, plus the Wanted Fugitives page for warrant information.
- Franklin city arrest routes and the Simpson County Detention Center booking destination.
- Steps for checking the county current list and Kentucky DOC offender records.
- How to request a police, sheriff, or booking record and what response rule the agency publishes.
Limits of This Private Site
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to a Kentucky government agency, sheriff, jail, or corrections department.
- We cannot release, detain, or transfer a person.
- We cannot post bond, arrange visits, or send funds.
- We cannot give legal advice.
- We cannot promise that a listed address, fee, telephone number, or office detail remains current.
Only the responsible jail, sheriff, police department, court, or corrections agency can confirm custody, charges, release, and the current official record.
